Years ago, we began questioning the accepted standards of the day and felt something was missing from the oriental dining experience around us. Determined to change that, we created a dining experience at Bombay Chopsticks that truly impresses — authentic oriental dishes take centre stage while the noise and bustle of daily life fades into the background. What remains is the spirit of Mandarin and Northern cooking, defined by pungent, sweet and sour notes alongside more richly seasoned dishes. As with all oriental cooking, eastern recipes place a strong emphasis on seafood. From the western region comes Szechuan cooking, known for its wonderfully hot and spicy seasonings flavoured with garlic, scallions and chili peppers. To the south lies Canton — Cantonese cuisine, more familiar to Western diners, is varied, subtly seasoned, light and colourful. It is an ideal setting for great family dining or for meeting clients and co-workers. Everything here is designed to make you feel at ease, yet if you choose to visit Bombay Chopsticks, we cannot predict exactly what you will eat. Although we personally select the finest seasonal produce, the ingredients are ultimately guided by nature's design and the distinct character of each regional cooking style.
